Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to the site owner. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which store data directly in your browser.
2. How TeamFlow Uses Cookies
TeamFlow uses a minimal set of cookies and browser storage — only what is necessary to operate the Service. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that profile your behavior across other websites.
3. Cookies We Use
| Name / Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Auth session cookie (Supabase) | Keeps you signed in between page loads and browser sessions. This cookie is essential — the Service cannot function without it. | Up to 7 days (refreshed on activity) |
| Theme preference (localStorage) | Stores your dark/light mode preference so it persists across visits. Stored in browser localStorage, not sent to our servers. | Persistent (until cleared) |
| Push notification token (OneSignal) | If you grant push notification permission, OneSignal stores a device identifier in localStorage to deliver notifications to your device. Only set if you grant notification permission. | Until notifications are revoked |
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party behavioral tracking on TeamFlow.
4. Essential Cookies
The authentication session cookie is strictly necessary for the Service to function. Without it, you cannot stay signed in and the Service cannot identify which team data belongs to you. Because it is essential, it does not require your consent and cannot be disabled while using the Service.
5. Managing Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Deleting the authentication cookie will sign you out of TeamFlow. Most browsers allow you to:
- View cookies currently stored for a website
- Block all cookies (note: this will prevent you from signing in)
- Delete cookies on a per-site or all-sites basis
- Set preferences for future cookie storage
For instructions specific to your browser, visit its support documentation (e.g., Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge).
You can revoke push notification permission at any time in your browser or device settings, which will clear the OneSignal token.
6. Changes to This Policy
If we introduce new cookies or tracking technologies, we will update this policy and notify you through the Service before those changes take effect.
